Epson sx235w
Re: Epson sx235w
Just a quick one. I am wanting a backup printer and want to know if anybody is using a sx235w and if so what is the print quality like on photos.
Also are you having any issues with the printer.
Had a epson s22 which was a nightmare to clean all the time.
Please share your experience with this printer so that i can make a decision on wether to get one or not.
Thanks

Re: Epson sx235w
I am using the SX 235W and have had no great problems. Print quality is good. If not used for awhile I need to reset to remind it it really does have ink in it, but other than that no cleaning or anything has been necessary. Have a look on my web page at the mugs and clocks if you want to see print quality
Re: Epson sx235w
Ahh right. Very interesting. Might invest in one of these then as a secondary printer.
Thanks for sharing that with me.

Re: Epson sx235w
I have a SX235W and it has banding problems, just using it as a normal printer though with durabrite ink.
Re: Epson sx235w
Ummm i am sure i have read a review somewhere that mentioned banding issues. But yet other people have said its a good printer. Think i would take it back if i got one and it had banding issues.
Re: Epson sx235w
Does anybody have a profile for this printer that i could use untill i get one made. I know the colours will still be out slightly but the designs i have wont be affected that much. Just need to clear a backlog.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Epson sx235w
The ICC profile is dependent on the inks used, the printer model, and what you are printing to, so you would have to find someone using the same sublimation inks as you, the same printer, and the same substrates to have a chance to getting good results, but then their profile would still be tuned to their SX235 and not yours.
