Hi All,

I have just taken delivery of my new iZettle credit/debit card reader for my android mobile phone.

I hear you all asking what is iZettle!

iZettle is a new credit/debit card processing system that accepts mastercard, visa, diners club and american express card payments via a mobile phone (android or iOS) and some tablets.

They charge a fee of 2.75% of the purchase price - so competitive for small businesses with no ongoing rental charges.

The card reader costs £20 (but comes with a £20 credit towards charges)

Lots of info on their website http://www.izettle.com

So if you have mobile phone coverage where you wish to trade and need to offer basic credit/debit card services to your clients then this may be ideal.

Hope this is useful to others,

Richard

Luckily, they have thought of that and the system doesnt use a pin number. They use the old fashioned signature system along with the ability to photograph the item sold and email the receipt to the client.
