I have just taken delivery of my first batch of plates and I am very happy with the results printing the centre part of the plate, which is all my press allows me to do.
My question is does anybody know of a way to print around the rim of the plate.

Vacuum heat press machines will allow you to do this.Scapaflyer;60216 wrote:I have just taken delivery of my first batch of plates and I am very happy with the results printing the centre part of the plate, which is all my press allows me to do.

Re: Printing plates
Keen to get my hands on a vacuum heat press, customer is chasing me constantly. A few options around and I'm told cheaper ones next year including a press that can do multiple items at the same time.
Re: Printing plates
Can't see why a vacuum heat press shouldn't be able to do different items. At the end of the day all they do is suck air out, get hot so that principle should make a difference to what is inside (assuming all items require same temp/ time combinations).Justin;60287 wrote:Keen to get my hands on a vacuum heat press, customer is chasing me constantly. Re: Printing plates
I guess it comes down to space, the desktop unit looks to be aimed more at single items. I've seen machines that can print 4 plates at same time but not sure on UK availability, I guess these are the next new thing.
