Polystyrene mug boxes
Re: Polystyrene mug boxes
This may be a silly question does anyone store there mug boxes in a cold environment like a garage as I am wondering if there is any adverse effects to doing this like them going kind of brittle etc.
Cheers and sorry for the silly question lol

Hi Craig
There are no problems in storing mug boxes in a cold environment. You should know as you have been to my house and I have no central heating so you know how cold it gets LOL!!!

Re: Polystyrene mug boxes
Well mine are also in the garage as where else would anyone store such a large volume of low weight items. It is the reason I prefer cardboard mailers.
Re: Polystyrene mug boxes
Thanks guys tought i would ask as i have not used many of them mug boxes and Si if you think your house is cold mate you should feel my bloody garage lol
Re: Polystyrene mug boxes
These boxes would be kept in warehouses by the manufacturers, and your suppliers - which I doubt would be heated.

That is a given John but also does not mean thy will be as cold as an empty garageJohn G;59604 wrote:These boxes would be kept in warehouses by the manufacturers, and your suppliers - which I doubt would be heated.
Re: Polystyrene mug boxes
I've worked in a few warehouses and i'll guarantee they're colder than a garage, normally the bloody roller doors are left open all day
causing a nice breeze.
Re: Polystyrene mug boxes
I can vouch that our warehouse is cold and there are no adverse effects. Our roller doors are open most of the day as well, but last couple of days staff have been down to just wearing t-shirts as they're rushing around like... err I mean carefully packing ordersCraig;59609 wrote:That is a given John but also does not mean thy will be as cold as an empty garage
