Dye sublimation paper- Choices
Re: Dye sublimation paper- Choices
i think i am lost in the forum and cannot find something related to this.
So i would be grateful if anyone address me to the appropriate threads or just answer
I am looking for some good paper to buy, as some Chinese i already have is mediocre.
What types of paper exist? are all the same? any specific brand with good results and vendors across Europe?
Does the paper have to be "heavy" to be good?
thanks
frank

If you search around the forum then you will find that a lot use Tru-pix as the paper of choice (if cost is not a factor) whilst others say they get good results from the Xpres Economy paper (if price is a factor).
Most of the eBay papers are poor quality, never the same two batches and not that much cheaper.

Re: Dye sublimation paper- Choices
I have always used trupix.
Trupix is £13.95 plus VAT
Xpress Economy is £9.50 plus VAT
Nothing wrong with Xpress Economy, but I have found that Trupix is marginally better for hard surfaces, and at 4.45p per sheet more it is not worth worrying about finding cheaper for me.

I've just received 100 sheets of sub paper from Coralgraph. Very good price at just under £20 inc p&p. Time will tell if it's any good.

Re: Dye sublimation paper- Choices
I tested the Coralgraph paper and didn't get on well with it at all, same as on the link.
Re: Dye sublimation paper- Choices
Yes that's the one but A3 size. It's the best price I could find.pentraks;59486 wrote:Which one? this? http://www.coralgraph.com/printer-paper ... -a4-108gsm
