Ricoh or powerdriver to print? Not happy with colours

Im using photoshop elements and when i print im not sure if im using the right print set up.
The first pic is how it is on my screen and the second how it comes out on mug.

Sawgrass say to select ricoh ht

other videos and instructions say to select power driver.

When i come to print i select powerdriver then i clik on the the other tab to select printer because i have more than one printer, then tick mirror and print.

I image mode RGBcolour
then image convert apply adobe RGB colour
the

I select print from photoshop
[ATTACH=CONFIG]1305[/ATTACH]



menu then i get this

[ATTACH=CONFIG]1304[/ATTACH]

Then this
[ATTACH=CONFIG]1306[/ATTACH]

Then this

[ATTACH=CONFIG]1307[/ATTACH]

seems long winded but thats following sawgrass instructions.
Im not sure if im doing it right.
Can anyone with photoshop show/tell me how they print.

Well from the images you are showing it does not look like you are printing from Powerdriver and that you are using the native printer driver which is going to give you weird colours.

When you choose the printer in the above 3rd image you should choose the Powerdriver (bottom of first column) and not the raster print driver you are currently choosing.

Try that and see if the images improve.

TY i changed to power driver in figure 3 then it came out much better.

Hi Viccar, I was wondering if you could put a picture of the mugs with the new settings next to the one you already done with the wrong colors, I know i use corel but i have the same sort of problem and would like to see the difference

Hi ADP i would have done but ive posted it :wink: there was definately a marked improvement in the brightness of the colours.

you have colour management set as photshop manages colour change this to no colour management then make sure you choose powerdriver as your printer choice

Ahh i see, Ive manage to sort mine now so the blue is blue not purple, red is red and orange is orange plus they pop now and look the closest to on screen :)

these are the settings i used in the end and it works so now happy [ATTACH=CONFIG]1310[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]1311[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]1312[/ATTACH]
End picture looks crap, i forgot to put flash on :/
