Great tutorial again Paul  Just one thing about the prepress in that it would have been better if you had used some paper underneath & on top of the clock to protect the press from the moisture.

good point... :)

Another tip is to push a pin through the centre of your sublimation paper to mark the clock face centre. Then you can align the centre of the clock to the base visually much more easily.

But great video again and looks a quality item.

i had a thought about this and i know why i decided to pre press it upside down :)

is coz of warping. i wasn't sure if clock will warp or not. so if it will warp after pre pressing it will wrap back after final press. i hope this make some sense :)

regards to pin the middle.
if you look closely at 8:00 of the video you will see there is a small white circle. software i presented always print one for you right on the middle so its easy to position :)

Hi Paul,
I just had a look at this video after seeing your 'frosted glass' video - another great one, well done buddy :)

Question though please. Do you not normally put anything down to protect your bottom plate when sublimating an item? The clock was face down so the ink would escape onto the bottom plate and 'could' transfer onto another item. I use baking paper under and on top (go through loads of it) but it is frightening of how much transfer (ink) escapes in the press and goes onto the baking paper.
