Hi guys and girls,

Im Neil, Brand new to all this Dye sub stuff..I've been in the printing business for a few years, but this type of printing is totally new to me. It looks like Ive got a lot to learn, so I'm going digging on the forum for anything I might need to know.

All I learnt so far is that there's very little info out there on the web that is useful for a total novice.

I've started with a very very basic setup to see if i can get into it, and maybe create some business, but I need the end product to be of reasonable quality.

Setup is S22(novice printer), SRN Paper and ********* Ink.

Thanks for reading, I hope that I dont create too many posts of questions that have already been asked...

Welcome Neil - if you are a complete novice then you're about to go down a steep difficult learning curve with the set up your using. Many that have trodden your footsteps before will testify that spending cheap (initially with the S22 setup) results in spending twice. Best of luck though, I guess you're up for a challenge :)

Hi Neil and welcome to the forum. Quick search will show you previous threads regarding the S22 printer and should help you make an informed decision :-)

cheers guys...I have done my research. The printer and initial setup was so cheap i couldnt really pass it up, and from what Ive read these printers can work but tend to be a bit of a pain in the bum...I only purchased it to test my potential market place to be fair. I want to know that I can make some money from what I want to do first before investing, but as soon as I know Im on the right track, the ricoh 3110 is well within the budget!

anyway cheers, i look forward to picking your brains at some point.
