Hi,
We have a new print item, iPad 2 leather case. We have had a few problems pressing it. The item around the top edges is not coming out properly, staying white only on the two corners.
I have used alot of pressure which has helped but no joy.
Any ideas what to do?
The iPad image is attached.
thanks
Lynsey

It would be handy if you could post the following:
Time and temperature you are using
A picture of the finished faulty product
Recommended settings supplied by the supplier of the blanks
Press and printer you are using

Our press temp is 180 c time is 55.
The press is Romark. The printer is a Ricoh 3300.
The attachment is the first print we tried. We increased the pressure next time to the maximum and it still came out with slight marks on the corner.
thanks
Lynsey

Re: ipad leather case issues
It looks to me as if its a pressure issue.
As Paul says you probably need to increase the pressure even more if possible. Some items it seems impossible to press, there are times where I have to use two hands and put my full weight behind the closing to get a good print. If you can not increase the pressure then you may need to put something under it.
Presumably you are pressing with the paper face down on top of the item, so its inbetween the heating element and the item. Some people put the paper face up, then the item and then the heating element which never works properly (IMHO) so thought I would ask

With the stitching make the edge thicker could you put some cardboard in side to even it up.
