As there are more than one type of file with a .std extension can you confirm if this is from openoffice drawing software or one of the memorex cd labeller applications of something different?

God what I've done I tried open one in words and its convert it to rubbish. in fact the whole folder, grrrr feel frustrated,

Many thanks for your replies, I had a look at some of my files and they have gone goobly gook, I only convert one, I didn't search further as I had so much work I didn't want to get distracted any more that I was, I'm not going to look till Monday, so no doubt I shall be back on Monday as i have had a look at the damage I've caused. The only good thing was the shop was really busy and I focused so much I even got ahead with the work. Mind you dreading Monday to see how much I messed up.
