Re: Custom Made Polo's

Post by accdave »

Has anybody been in the position where they have needed to have clothing custom made ?

I have received an enquiry for 4,000 polo shirts of a particular colour which I haven't been able to find as a stock item.

For 4k pieces it would seem custom made is owrth looking at but would be good to see if anybody has any recommendations

Cheers

Dave for that qty i would go to one of the larger importers and have a chat with them - Absolute Apparel have their own factory links, and would be a great way to go, as they know the ropes of importing / getting it right at the factory quality and delivery wise and you could probably base your prices on their own stocked brands, given teh qty involved even for a custom made (it will probably be lower)

I met these people at a trade fair in Stuttgart. Price were good and they seemed professional. They exhibit at most clothing related fairs over here so they must be OK.
They can make what you want to you design and colour.

Ive not used them, Im not big enough.

its just the risk free way really, give them the spec (not the specific details), get them to quote, then you are letting them take care of the quality issues, import arrangements - makes sense to me
