Printing large metal panels - Intresting video

Just found this new tutorial from Conde which is pretty interesting.

Pretty much how I've been doing them. Started printing these larger panels recently but all stock I was receiving was damaged. Checked with Supplier and all of their remaining stock (different batches) had consistent damage so they claim they're withdrawing from sale. Expensive items to get wrong these!

I usually find with metal that just resting the head on top with no pressure works best but these panels seem to print better with a light pressure lock down.

Biggest issue I've had with metal is the pattern of the lower platen coming through to the print/slight mottling.
