Re: What am I doing wrong?

I am still struggling to load the driver for my Ricoh 3300n.
I have downloaded the files but they dont work.
I have been on the ricoh site and registered and have added all my info the sn and all I have been asked.
all i get is the driver is not loaded.
Apparently I have the profile icc, the powerdriver and all i need but nothing works till the drivers are added.
Day two now and its getting a bit tedious to say the least.
Why is it so difficult to get the drivers?
I have followed the link on BMS and that loads some shortcuts onto my desktop but that is all, they dont seem to work.
I have registered my machine, my name. had the printer upside down to get S/n and all the info I am asked.
Still all i get is device driver not installed. Even when i search online I get nothing?
Why is it so difficult? Totally frustrated now.
Can I get a disc from somewhere? This is really doing my head in now.
Ta

Tony

My only suggestion is that the driver needs downloading and installing before anything else so if i was you i would go into the programs and features and removed eveything and start a fresh install of the printer with the printer driver 1st followed by the powerdriver.

... disconnect printer of the puter :)
load drivers first and then connect it.

Tried printer on printer off. install whilst printer attached and off. The printer is not connected to the printer. I have tried everything.
All I get is this: Been nearly 2 days now. Thank god this is not my source of income.

Anyone bought the Ricoh 3300 and has the installation disc? This is getting ridiculous. Could someone make me a copy and post it please. i will of course pay for the disc, postage and time.
There seems to be zero aftercare on this product and i have spent too many hours now just looking for simple drivers.
I have orders to do this weekend and it looks like i will not be able to them as it stands.

Thanks Brill offer. But I am at work all day from 7am till after 6pm.
Could you make a copy and drop it in the post? I will of course pay for the disc, postage and your time.
I am just getting so frustated now as i have a couple of people want a few things this weekend.
I have spent a lot os tine repairing and reloading everything and this is the last thing. I will then be making some recovery discs.
I wonder if the downloads I have been using are wrong? i have windows 7 and windows 7/64bit
My computer is win 7/32 bit. Would that make a difference do you think?
