Been watching loads of videos but i cant find one that will show ricoh power driver in action, i want to see one that shows what happens when you click print in software, all i can find is installation videos, do you have to adjust it everytime or just the once.
Or dont you see it once its been set up, do you have to keep adjusting it? Not sure what im on about realy.

Can someone give me idiots guide. or point me in the direction of good video?

Vicki, I can't find any videos for you to watch either. I've found the Ricoh GX7000 powerdriver instructions from Sawgrass which shows you all about using the Powerdriver which should help you.

Here's the link http://sawgrassink.indigofiles.com/prod ... _Guide.pdf

The powerdriver is just like any other printer driver in that you can change settings for different materials and the colour density as you would with a normal printer. However once set it will remember what you have set until you change it.

When you print using the powerdriver the print will look terrible, but dont worry when you have pressed a mug say it will be fine.

Viccar,
if you want to succeed, follow the advice of successful people, - even if you don't fully understand it is the correct decision at That time.
Inaction, is frequently a lot more expensive than hesitancy......
I have over 25 years experience in colour management, - RE "Powerdriver" I 'kin love it, does the job for me, idiotproof. what exactly was your question ?

My question is if i was printing lots of different items a day maybe 1 mug 1 jigsaw 1coaster ect is it quick to change the settings for each material and colour density. I dont want to be spending all day changing settings.

I want to offer phots gifts not just mugs. Is the reason people settle on mugs because its easier to stick to one type of material and setting?

I will buy mug press and sub printer and already have heat press and vinyl cutter, so i want to offer a full range of products, as well a clothing and decals i already sell.

Yes, changing the powerdriver is quick, it has drop down menus for item types and sliders for other settings. It only takes seconds to change (but remember to change it back to your 'normal' item setting afterwards just incase)
