Fabric pens with dye sub t-shirt.

Before I go and experiment, has anybody used fabric pens on dyesub t-shirts, and did it work or wash out?

I've tried but not successful I think its more of a craft thing.

I would have thought a permanent marker style ink would work better due to the polyester content.

It might be worth a trip to somewhere like hobbycraft to see what range they do.
