Hi folks! Have been plugging away with my new press (had it just over a month now) but it seems to me that it is badly out of alignment. Not too much of an issue for the likes of mousemats etc but for thin items requiring little pressure like iPhone blanks the pressure difference across the press means its actually difficult to get good results even when I only press one blank at a time!
I will attempt to attach a few pics, any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am going thro iPhone blanks like they're going out of fashion!

Re: DF30 Alignment Issues
press open (level lies to one side)

press closed (level lies to other side)

front bracket connection - lying off

press closed - gap at front corner

Have read other threads where a wedge has been used to level the plate up etc but i'm not much of a DIY fan and would be concerned i might make things worse!!

This can also happen if the bolts holding the springs are over tight. I would suggest like Frazzle has said to initially undo the 2 wingnuts and slide the heat platen off then check if the spring holding bolts are protruding through the bottom of the plate and unscrew slightly if they are. Once that is done put it back on and check the level. If the level is out then as Frazzle has suggested use a washer or a shim to level the whole assembly.
