Help!

Relative newbie, and having colour issues. I am trying to print a design, which is a photo
and also a Word art deisgn, and its coming out very, very yellow!
Guessing I may need an ICC profile, but I don't, is this something I can get quickly?
I have an Epson D120 printer and ***** ink.

If anyone could offer some advice, I would much appreciate it as I have orders to
get done and don't want to waste more products.

Thanks!

Do you not have anything else you can press that is cheaper to try to see if it shows yellow e.g. mouse mat, coaster, polyester t-shirt scraps? The yellowing could be down to needing an ICC profile, it does seem that we have had a number of posts about yellowing of images using Epson printers without ICC profiles recently. It may be also down to pressure, temperature or maybe even you are pressing too soon after printing. Sublimation prints should be allowed to dry a while before pressing as the process of sublimation is from a solid to a gas back to a solid and wet ink can cause issues.

I did another test on a placemat, just as awful!! I have a few other things I can try on, I will try waiting for it to dry for longer... Any ideas on where I can get an ICC profile? As in, today?? lol A lot of what I do is my own Word Art designs, so haven't actually printed many photos, they seem to be the problem.

Have you done a nozzle check? If any particular colour isn't appearing a blocked nozzle could be the culprit. But you'll still need a profile.

Incidentally, if you were using Artainium ink a profile is available here...

I think Scotty has you covered there if using Artainium inks, however your best bet long term if doing photographic images is to make contact with 'Paul' a moderator on the forum who offers an ICC profiling service at reasonable rates and with a proven track record of quality work.

I've removed the name of the inks you're using. Please be aware of the small printer patent held by Sawgrass which does not apply to the type of ink you're using, we therefore cannot discuss the actual inks.

Many thanks,

Justin
