Re: The Transfer Press
Hi All
Does any of the Premium members know if we get a discount from The Transfer Press?
I am posting this on behalf of another member on here who's mother tongue is not English, hence why I am posting it.
Kind regards
Simon

Well Simon, just tell them that if they don't offer a discount you'll order from someone that does!

thats like holding a gun to someones head and saying - "pay me".
if a customer done that to us, we would tell them to go to the other supplier that gives you discount...goodbye and phone down...no arguing, no assing about...plain and simple !
main suppliers have 1000's customers on there books bud....one pissed of customer causes he/she didnt get discount aint gonna bother them:rolleyes:

@bigj2552 I did expect Simon to take it with a pinch of salt and not literally lol - this is me posting and you know I am not a serious guy (most of the time) lolbigj2552;53852 wrote:er...wrong ethics young man.....

I said it with the expectation that Simon would look around to see if what he needed was not available from a discount supplier at a good price before placing an order.
Anyway remind me to never phone a Scottish supplier because if they are all like Johnny on the telephone whats the point in me trying to barter lol

lol...thats why 90% of the suppliers are down south
and in saying that - the only discount i would haggle with would be "bulk buy" discounts....but for other every day stuff, the prices are on site, some with multi-buy discounts already in place
Suppliers will be same....price on site and if your buying bulk, email us...

Re: The Transfer Press
Hi Guys
Two things, I did take it with a pinch of salt even though my orginal post does say that its not actually for me
Secondly, I see nothing wrong in saying to someone "is that the best you can do" I certainly would not hang up on them, standard business practice in my industry.

Re: The Transfer Press
depending on what he is after they do offer some good price breaks for items, you never know their french may be better than he thinks, i am sure they will help out best they can, but i would have thought most of what they offer will be available to him there (if its who i am thinking it is)
