Banner adverts jump text driving me crazy
Re: Banner adverts jump text driving me crazy
This is a great forum, - but recently I notice that the text thread bounces up and down as I read it.
I see that this is due to the sponsors advert changing, - and occasionally dissapearing, - so the text jumps up or down as the sponsors banner appears and goes away. This is not good, - of you don't have enough advertisers in the scrolling list, - could you substitute a blank box of the same pixel dimension so the text stays still ?
I use Chrome.

i had this problem and it was driving me mad. i found a solution...
i,m using firefox with adblockplus installed....
the listawood banner was not showing and made the site jump about...
either put an exception into adblock for the banner, or disable adblock for DSF only...job done bud
Re: Banner adverts jump text driving me crazy
depends how your adblock is set up bud.....(if your using it that is )Craig;53521 wrote:I use firefox and IE and dont have this prob
some get it, some dont....
only giving my solution to the problem to save anyone else tearing out there hair in frustration, like i did at the time
Re: Banner adverts jump text driving me crazy
Yeah thats ok just thought i would let you know it was not all users so would prob be more a machine issue rather than a forum issue mate

Not a forum problem I'm afraid, I run Chrome myself and no ads have been changed in a while now. I know AdBlock has been known to cause this problem in the past.
