you can use standard flock but you need to press it to sign vinyl first to make it sticky.

What Paul means is that you can make templates by cutting your holes into flock (furry) t-shirt material that you have already heat pressed onto the top of a piece of sign vinyl. The flock t-shirt material is not sticky as standard and has a heat activated glue layer on the back - so by heating this up ontop of a piece of sign vinyl you get a sandwich material that has the sticky from the back of the sign vinyl.

An alternative method (which i find easier to cut) is to use sandblasting film which is sticky on the back but you do then have the issue of the mylar transfer paper sticking to the top surface.

You can also buy A4 sheets of sticky backed flock material that can be cut in the silhouette (and other cutters) but as bigj2552 and I have discovered it is quite hard to handle easily.
