Thing is with s22 this is low end printer and i dont think you can find 2 s22that woul print same quality image. I would say each printer should have custom icc made.

OK. well what do i need to do to get that sorted then.. Makes sense to me to get a profile made. Only bought the s22 because it had a profile with it so i could move faster and getting set-up and to make sure that my girlfriend would like doing it. My goal is to get a brother printer.

Got a quick question for you on pressing the mug. When i pressed the mug towards the bottom i was getting like darker lines in the middle of the cup towards bottom. I am thinking that i am not applying enough pressure.

I use a coral4 mug press and use coral 10oz mugs.

Lets see what we can do with your existing profile first.

Brother are vreat printers and havve larger carts. So i like them.

What time and Temp you used. Dark marks may mean there is to high temp.

180 degrees C and 180 seconds. top half of mug is perfect its just towards bottom in the centre of the mug. I looked at my other test mugs just now that went terrible wrong to see if they had the same lines when i had the pressure set to more.

For some strange reason i decided to back off the pressure. I have adjusted pressure back up so will print another tomorrow morning and see if that cures it.

Here are the pics of the mug. As you can see at the bottom there are dark lines going down and in between the lines it looks faded.

I am preheating the mug press with a blank mug in and then switching mugs once preheated and doing them at 180 C / 180 seconds.

Well those white lines are where the sublimation ink did not transfer properly. Do you have a flatbed press? If so try drying your paper by pressing it for a few seconds with heat before printing. If you do not then leave your paper to dry after printing before transferring to your mug press. Also make sure that your press is tight enough to uniformly clamp the mug and if that doesnt help them consider increasing your temperature by 5 or 10 degrees and your time also. It might also be worth trying a different type of higher release paper. On my high release paper there is barely any image left on the paper after pressing on the mug.
