does anyone have a front and back mug printable area blank template?

I am looking for a template with guide areas that would make it easier for me to line up when printing a mug with a photo on one side and and another photo or logo on the other when i am trying to print my own based on dimensions i found the image is off centre and not totally viewable when holding mug by handle, can somebody please help?

Firstly, welcome to the forum

Are you using 10oz or 11oz mug? I use 10oz and set an area of 200mm x 90mm max print.

thanks for the welcome and the response, im using 11 oz i am also finding that my prints arent coming out great i might try a new paper as im using funky leopard and it says to print on glossy side but both seem to be matte? ive also wasted 3 out of my 6 mugs trying to get a decent print lol im not adversed to trial and error as i already made the biggest error in using an epson s22 however as my prints arent coming out pho quality on the paper or once pressed its becoming frustrating, i have icc profile etc aswell...

Lick your fingers and grab your paper. Side that stick tou your finger is side you print on.

S22 is good printer and can produce lovely images but you need to aet it up properly. What software you use for printing?

Hows your maths? This might get messy...

Using 80mm diameter mug, the circumference is 260mm. Handle width is 15mm, leaving 245mm.
A4 paper width is 210mm. Excluding the handle, the non-paper covered area is 245-210 = 35mm, divided by 2 to get each side = 17.5mm (dont really need to that exact, so call it 18mm)

Looking at the mug side-on, the vertical centre line will be at 40mm (half the diameter), which is 55mm around the mug from the edge of the handle.
So, if you position the vertical centres of your photos 37mm (55-18) from either edge of the paper in your editing software, and you position the paper to be equidistant from the handle edges, the photos should line up on both sides...

Once you got the paper taped to the mug, try to check the vertical centre of the photos are opposite each other as you look down on top of the mug. At least then you wont waste a mug if they're not lined up.
