Re: CDR viewing software

Post by Earl Smith »

Last year I made a design in Corel X4 and filed it somewhere within my system. Customer has forgotten her name (duh) and I cant find the design. I must have close on 1000 cdr files on the computer. Is there a viewer that I can use? The http://cdrviewer.org/ does not work, probably because I dont want the add ons that it wants to do to my internet explorer. ( Babalon etc).
Do you know of an alternative?

when i scroll through mine in the open folder, just using the arrow keys i get the "details" in a box on the left hand side and the image is shown there, can you not just scroll through your folders in the normal way ?? ie i have winxp

Do you know roughly when you last did the job?

Might be worth doing a search using the date as a filter. This might narrow it down a bit.

I found this http://www.xnview.com/en/downloadwin32.html
and with it I have found the artwork. Never in a million years would I have found it without this viewer. It was buried deep within a folder within a folder. God knows what I was thinking when I saved it.
Thanks for your ideas guys (and gals)...
