You must have pushed the setting right up at the start then?

If testing a cutter - always start off with too little pressure and work up with a test cut.

Sorry to hear about your cutting mat biting the bullet. My transfer tape has still not arrived so now assumed eaten by RM. I did however purchase some rhinestone software so made a template out of sandblasting film (so much easier to cut than the flock) and used this to lay out some stones. Would have been much more successful with tape but the result is pleasing for a first attempt.

No my first attempt with the same red flex was 'May Contain NUTS' which was pressed on the front of my briefs.

I then put a smiley face with rhinestones on my wife's undies.

I wonder if you are mistaking the 'princess' on my boxers for my tattoo? You know the one I told you about that says LUDO most of the time and LLANDUDNO for some of the time

Sandblasting cut very nice and stones go in to the holes easy. Crap bit is when you apply tape. It sticks to sandblasting vinyl so much that you need to use bit of force to get it off. And then loads of stones are coming off. :-(

Well as I have not received the transfer tape yet (I ordered 2 weeks ago but it failed to arrive) I am unable to prove the point but I did wonder. I am also going to try cutting a template from another material that I have now received and see if that works also.

If I can be bothered to put a 60 degree blade in the holder then I might try cutting that flock that Johnny put me onto again - it cut really badly with a 45 deg blade.
