Broken/grunge font suitable for vinyl - is there one?

you can use a piece of the backing vinyl, if its sticky enough to help take lots off and then just do i final weed, i roll mine which helps loosen the edges and then - just like you would fluff from a jumper - dab the vinyl backing over the back of the unpeeled vinyl and it does the job quite quickly

Try leaving the cut vinyl overnight as well...it makes weeding so much easier on the fiddly bits.
