Re: Frustrated from Wiltshire!

Hi all,

Been lurking here a few days, so thought it was time to say hi. I ended up here in frustration. I've been trying to find reliable suppliers of merchandise both for my company and for an internet forum I've run for some time now. Encountered a lot of really expensive sellers and an awful lot who are big on talk, but very short on action! Seriously, I have the money - don't they want it :frown:

So I had this seemingly mad idea the other day to see if this is something I can actually do myself. Reading through this fantastic site, I'm coming to the opinion that it may just be possible, and I am really impressed with the quality of work the members here produce. It's a little off the reservation for me being an I.T. guy, but I have plenty of time on my hands right now while waiting for my next contract to start.

Mainly looking at stickers, t-shirts, mugs & caps for now - but since being on here my list of things I want to offer has grown considerably  The thought that I can customise the items quickly & easily is also really appealing.

If I can make this viable, I will probably buy the kit and get my sister to do the artistic stuff. She got all the artistic genes in the family, I got the useless technology ones instead...

Cheers, Gary

Well, all my family is artistic except for me who is the tech wiz. All I can say is I found enough on here to get myself started with a mug press and whilst away at the weekend came back with a secondhand tee-shirt press. It needs a bit of rust removal and a clean but I have high hopes it will do the job. It is unlike any I have seen on here, the bottom plate is fixed, the heated plate is raised and lowered using a side 'crank' shaped handle and whilst in the up position it slides backwards away from the bottom plate. Well it is my weekend restoration project
Anyway welcome to the forum

Welcome, I have lived in Wiltshire when I was a child, lovely area, I have fond child hood memories. My mother swore blind she saw a flying saucer and I believed her. I think it might have been the whisky. You have come to the right place and may your projects go well
