hello dye subbers
Re: hello dye subbers
Hi Everyone
> First time I've joined a forum but having 'lurked' for a while wanted to say what a refreshing change to find a group with such constructive and generous contributions.
Started dye subbing in 05 but mainly mugs and shirts for corporate clients for our other business (food and gift products), we've started expanding our range recently as we have a retail shop on our premises and were getting requests for personalised goods so currently offering a wide range of different products.
Anyway hope to be able to contribute and learn where stuff is outside my comfort zone!
Top Tip I have learnt...never try to be macho and carry Adkins swing away down steep flight of stairs on your own a) without clamping it and b) hold it so you can see where the bottom of the steps are...as result of a) is that Newtons law takes over and in conjunction with b) means that you land with 45kgs of press on you! And as testimonial to Adkins - worked perfectly since, which is more than could be said for me:biggrin:
All the best
Hugh

Hi and many thanks - it certainly is enlightening - wish I'd found it years ago, would have saved lots of swearing and 'ahem' "samples" production!
Re: hello dye subbers
Hi there Laura - many thanks. So that's at least two of us in self -inflicted heat press 'incidents'! maybe we should get Adkins and Knight to use our testimonials! Any one else?
