Sorry to hear about your sun stroke, but I am surprised no one has suggested you wait till you reach 180 degrees then wrap sublimation paper tightly round your waist and leave for 180 secs lol :biggrin:

I got really sunburnt one year and a friend at work told me it would ease it if I took a cold shower. So I did (the bloody idiot) the pain was excrusiating. I had a few choice words to say to him the next day.

Living close very close 150yds I have seen so much of this over the years. The only remedy I think is take great care when sitting near water, as the sun seems more intense by water, and the water has an effect on not letting you feel the heat until its to late.
