Re: Durable Printing
Bms or xpres have excellent t shirts suitable for sublimation printing http://www.printerowners.co.uk/sublimat ... shirts.htm all my customers comment on their high quality. as for long lasting the print will not fade infact the print would probably out last the tshirt. As for paper this is really down to personal preferance i personally think you cant go far wrong with truepix paper but others my disagree i will say stay well clear of cheap paper its false economy .

Re: Durable Printing
You'll need higher than 50/50 to get a good print, higher the better. The Xpres shirts are nice quality but thick, some customers don't like them. Vapor shirts imo are nicer and closer to cotton (but still feel different) They print well and press/paper lines are easier to reduce.
I use Xpres paper for everything but many members report Trupix giving richer colours, I'm just re-testing and profiling Trupix paper myself and so far the results are good. Xpres paper is the cheapest and can be bought from Xpres or BMS.

Re: Durable Printing
Do you know of any sublimation paper that can print any brand of %100 cotton? ie. Haynes, Fruit of the Loom, etc.
Re: Durable Printing
i think you dont understand "sublimation" process in 100%.
with sublimation you can print ONLY on polyester. you need to pick different printing method for cotton.

Re: Durable Printing
A mentioned above, you need a high polyester content on the outer of the shirt for sublimation to work.
You can print onto 100% cotton using the Chromablast system but need different inks. Vinyl and transfer are other cotton alternatives.

Re: Durable Printing
i think you could do this with screen printing but for lower quantity it would be bit costy

Re: Durable Printing
sublimation will only print onto polyester or a high poly mix
you'll not get hardly anything using cotton the transfer will go on very faintly but it'll wash out really quickly

Re: Durable Printing
I think I need to do more research about these processes. I'm really thankful to you guys for all info's. Will visit the bms website tonight. I will give you some feedback soon.
Re: Durable Printing
