Transfer Press
Re: Transfer Press
just got there very extensive catalog/s through the other day for ready made fully licenced transfers-
Artbrands/Wildside
I have questioned the prices and quote's from there site to one of there staff members and a quote from there site -
"please check our price list for more detailed price information. The prices shown include all the shipping and custom duty prices - the price you see on the price list is all you pay"
sent an email about above and -
the email i got back was -
"All prices on the website, including transfers, exclude VAT and
P&P/carriage"
90% of the prices are from a pdf from there site.
Sent another email asking about this and also asking about the shipping charge.
Can ANYONE shed any light on this ?
Anyone every used there transfer service ? - which is shipped in from the usa every 2wks and you can only buy x12(same kind) at a time - which is understandable !
the quality of the transfers look stunning

Re: Transfer Press
I'm not aware of any UK ones I'm afraid.
The transfers I used to import were mainly cheaper ones. On the whole I used to double the cost of the transfer to cover shipping, taxes etc. If I remember correctly paper products were zero rated for import tax but if you get charged it, it takes ages to recover.
I wonder how many of these transfers are sold in the UK, they always seem popular and I'm surprised no-one, Transfer Press etc. has either shipped over in bulk to stock themselves or better still obtained a licence to print in the UK.

Re: Transfer Press
i have used the TP for a few years now and i am very happy with the prices and the service offered, i have also imported directly from the states, and had all of the charges associated with that. the price bands are easy to read and understand and the ordering is painless, cant see where the problem is myself (oh and i even pay them by card over the phone
)

Re: Transfer Press
thats where you need to sit down with very large coffee and decide which ones you THINK will sell - baring in mind you got to buy x12 of the same at a time !.accdave;46296 wrote:I have the catalogues and the only reason I've never ordered is there is too much choice
so carefull thought has to go into this or your wasting cash with stock that gonna sit there - browse around and see whats popular with others gives you a good start !.
Yes the choice is a hell of a lot but, rather that, than not a lot TBH.
