Newbie question - RN, Rhino, Orca?
Re: Newbie question - RN, Rhino, Orca?
Hi all
Something for which I can't find an answer anywhere is what is the best type of coating for sublimating mugs? Some I've seen say they're RN, others are Orca, others are Rhino, and others again are simply "sublimation mugs" and of course there are the polymer mugs, but I'm not interested in those ones.
What is the difference between these different coatings and does one stand out compared to the others?
TIA

To be honest all 3 are pretty good & do the job very well. I think most of us tend to go for the RN coated mugs from BMS as they have a gurantee on them. It really is a matter of personal choice.

I have bought thousands of orca mugs, - never ever had a single problem with them, I still have some from my practice mugs from nearly 5yrs ago, - dishwashed very often, don't appear to have faded, - but i don't have any comparrison.
good mugs!

You can get mugs from Coralgraph for £25 a box if you collect. £35 isn't too bad though if they're particularly good.
