Any got any ideas what large format printers i can make into a solvent printer?
i want to be able to print banners and adhesive sign vinyl.

i know roland do the versacam but thats way out of my price bracket :(

i alos know Bob has the HP 500 for sale but after googling it appears that this won't be suitable unfortunately.
(waits for JSR to pop in lol )

I have no idea about solvent ink. My usual method of "education" is to ask the question "I wonder if this'll work?" and then bung it all together and see what happens! Sometimes it works... :wink:

InkTec list their solvent ink range as suitable for the following printers:

Roland
Z/Soljet EX Series/SJ1000
Uniform
Cadet/Grenadier
Mimaki
JV3 JV5 JV33

(note, I am an InkTec dealer, but have no experience of solvent inks/printers, and am just quoting their info sheets)
