Help for flat bed printing

hi
can some one help me just got a swing away heat press 15 x 15
sorry no name of model, But wot i need to know is i want
to print on to some 100 per cent polyester need to know
heat and times also do i need to put any parchment paper on top or the
bottom of the item i am printing.
I hope this is easy to understand and hopefully someone can
help me, i am a newbie to all this and trying to learn as much as i can
by reading the forum with loads of useful information,
also got used to my mug press and printing gone through 72 mugs
and had 4 botched cups so quite proud of wot i have done up to now

If it is 100% polyester then I'd sugest 190 degrees for 50-60 seconds.

Probably wise to do so, but the ink is going to go from the paper to the polyester item. We tend to cover to stop the paper sticking to the heat platen and causing a double press/ shadow when the press is lifted up after the time has elapsed.

material arrived but too thin, prints perfect on to it but no good
so time to search for some more, unless anyone know better
or am i wasting my time

What is it you are printing onto ?

100 per cent polyester

But there is loads of stuff that is 100% poly... Your best shot would be to go to your local fabric shop and ask the persob ro show you all poly stuff. You can touch and choice.most suitable one.

Cheers for that I am. Going to go to Middlesbrough tomorrow to see if I can find anything there
Have tried Darlington and.no luck there so tried eBay and ended up with stuff no good
