How much waste ink?

Hi I fitted ink waste tanks to two Epson 1400's just before Christmas. Being tight, I only fitted the smallest ones I could buy.
Looked at them this morning and thought it was time to empty them..........over 100ml of waste ink.
Couldn't believe the volume of waste ink in such a short time.
That's over 300ml a year wasted. ( or I could drip feed it back into the black...........) JOKING
Does anyone else use waste tanks? If so, do you get about 5% of your ink input go into your waste tank?

i got my from this guy. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WASTE-INK-TAN ... 620wt_1165 also have reset for b1100 so if printer thinks is full you simply run little app and printer like new
