firstly, not all flex is created equal, find a product you both like using, and washing well.
Second - just how much are you going to use? if you are asking this question, the answer might be not very much.....
The actual product cost might vary for standard colours from £3.50 to £5.50 or so + vat per meter, you should think about product consistancy and support, availabliity, quality, ease of use and wash over price. not to forget technical support !
If you do 1 T for £10, or 20 T's for £5 each, the material cost is only going to be less than between 50p and 85p - there are lots of things more important than the 35p difference.
What if you buy some of a colour, and 6 m later you re-order, and get a slightly different shade, and P**s off a good customer coz you cannot match.
Don't think cheap, thing BEST!
When you are buying 100m + per month price will definitely be lower.
Pick a supplier YOU want to do business with, and stick with them. I stick with TMT
1 Hour T-shirt printing shop in Newcastle upon Tyne.

hi, thanks for your reply.
I'm using xpres easy flex in work(I cannot buy this direct) but need to buy my own stuff now. It is in white only at the moment and I need about 5-10m for this order. So something of the same quality or thereabouts..I've thought of trying yolo flex film, any experience of this?
I will be looking to get a regular supplier and not really the cheapest film, was just wondering if there was any good deals on anywhere that members would know about.. :)

why cant you buy direct from xpres ?? unless its conflict of interest with work ? they have an account application form and a lot of people on here deal with them

it would be the rep that would most likely pass on info to other local businesses, or on the phone, if they know you and you order, and then they call your work. at the end of the day if you are taking business away from where you work now, then i would have everything in the girlfriends name, courts dont look too kindly upon that kind of thing.

hi
I'm not taking business away from where I work, I have been approached from my home area(around 20 miles from work) and it is work I have generated myself and through word of mouth, I have bought my own equipment etc and trying to start up my own little business. I am getting quite a few requests now as people get to know I can supply them(mainly hen/stag/holiday t shirts etc)

It's just extra pocket money at the moment but I'm hoping it will get bigger.
The rep very rarely comes to our place and doesn't know me as such but I think I may order in my girlfriends name for now.

:)
