Newbie question about Ricoh GXe3300n

I am looking at buying this printer as well as a mug press.
Can I also use the Sublijet R Cartridges for transfer printing onto
normal fruit of the loom/gildan type t shirts or do I have to get special sublimation t shirts?

You can't use sublimation ink for cotton garments. Sublimation ink only bonds with polyester so you will either need to use different t-shirts or consider an alternative approach to cotton garment printing (ChromaBlast, Colour Laser etc).

Pity as it would of solved 2 problems for the price of 1.
I have an epsom 1400 with a cis kit which I was going to use for transfers, but getting it to print on photo quality is a nightmare.
