Just an FYI to those of you in the sublimation community. I started using Marabu dye-sub ink from Axiom America about 6 weeks ago because the price was right and since I have been putting out better sub-prints at a lower price, which is great. I just found out that for the month of April they are discounting their Marabu ink even further with an added 20% off for the whole month of April on web site orders of Marabu ink. I am mentioning this here because if any of you are wanting to flush your systems and try something new as I did, there probably won't be a better time with such a low investment.

It's featured off the homepage www.axiomamerica.com

No, I joined here before I even got into dye sublimation and have browsed info, but never posted.

This is not a forum I have used much, nor know anybody in but sublimation is the reason I joined here anyway... since the dye sub growth and changes lately are all so new, I thought that www.dyesubforum.co.uk was the most appropriate place to share on in regards to my newer sub work and supplies. If you have some good feedback related to this post or ink product lines you use for your sublimation printing, I would love to hear about it, where you order, and your experiences.

Appreciate your feedback.

Those inks are listed as "Large Format" inks, presumably to avoid patent infringement from Sawgrass (the owners of the patent for using dye-sublimation ink in desktop printers). Most people here are using desktop printers and so are not allowed to buy/use the inks being sold on that website.

Anyone using a large format printer will already be benefiting from cheaper prices than the rest of us pay anyway, and they're unlikely to find much savings in buying an untried ink from America.

Almost everyone here will be using Sawgrass ink, and so all experiences or sources will be the same. Discussions involving dye-sublimation ink for desktop printers that doesn't come from Sawgrass is not allowed on this forum (which you will already know if you've browsed the forum before).

I did not realize that or the differentiating of desktop printers' technology, well that makes makes this thread neither appropriate nor helpful to most I guess. Maybe a moderator should just kill the whole thread.

I thought I was being helpful to the community when I posted in the first place, oh well.
