As a massive fan of the show I was especially pleased to see tonights printing task!!! Fantastic!

I was confused however, at the different printing methods being used........ did anyone see it?

At one point I thought they were screen-printing and then putting finished garment under heat press....?!

What methods were being used?

Combination of screen printing and digital printing.

Watched the show and was astounded - bunch o muppets but the way it was portrayed that it looked like anyone can make hundreds of quid by banging out a crap design on a bag or teddy bear.

I didn't watch this but Lee hit the nail on the head - without the film crew following them around they wouldn't sell anything. Ask yourself - have you ever been stopped in the street and asked to buy anything, people wouldn't give you the time of day.

I'll have to catch up on iplayer and then stand in middle of Newcastle and try to sell my wares

What gets me though is that they made it look like any eejit can just string a couple of teddys and bags together and rake in hundreds of quid a day. You try selling small teddys in crapply printed union jack tshirts for £15 down the market and see how far you get or stick a bus on a bag and get it sold for a fiver.

Magic Touch must be happy though as they got a lot of free advertising for all the branded kit that was on display!

They also didn't seem to mention the cost of having the stall in the first place. Am not sure about the south bank, but the girls had a much larger stall than normal at Greenwich - made up of 3 stalls IIRC, and certainly more than the 100 Watts of power that is normally available to each stall. If they were paying the going rate for what they had, they probably wouldn't have made any profit at all.

I didn't think they did actually make it (printing/production) look easy to do - especially the boys team, who messed up the majority of the bags, and the bears were pretty messy too. I was worried when I saw what the episode was, as I didn't want too many secrets as to how it all works shown on such a high profile show, and am relieved that this didn't happen.
