This isn't mine but I thought someone might be interested. I fancy one of the hot foil presses, the A3 manual folder and definitely the rip and 1610 Risoprinter.

Is any one else interested in this gear?

Am I right in thinking you're after sharing the bid John. If so not sure how you would work out the final price of each item

I know, it would be a little awkward who gets what, infact very hard to break up.
If there are peeps interested list what you'd like, but there's interest already and just under 6 days to go so think it'll go for a lot more than it is now.

Are the hot foil machines of much use these days? I thought it was a bit more of an old fashioned method.

Very old fashioned but ideal for foiled business cards and wedding stationery which I keep getting asked for.

I see. I believe you can emboss with them as well onto stuff like leather etc. I've got a fairly big hot foil machine just never bothered using it. The plate bit I have never looked into but embossing is still a decent way to brand and not so dated. I should make an effort to work out how to use these things as I've also got a pad printer as well gathering dust.

My pad printer will be going on ebay later today - never used it in quite a few years and yet 10 years ago it was running 16 hrs a day, every day.

I reckon I could get loads of work through for pad printing if I knew what to do..... or had more time to work it out would be the main reason. Just for printing bases of mugs it would make my life easier. How's the screenprinting ticking along for you John?
