Hi all,
I am having a clear out and am sorting out stock.
I have 44 xpress sublisoft kids polo shirts for sale.
These are the collared type not round neck.
They are style XP507.
There are 34 9/10yrs They are in packs of 5...... I only used 1, hence 34, and 10 (2 pack) of 7/8yrs
All packs unopened apart from the one I opened to use one shirt.
I will have quite a few sublimation shirts for sale over the next week in various sizes and styles as I am considering changing over to vinyl pressing on the shirt side.
Looking for around £130 with free P&P.
All brand new.

Oh Dear.

Advice please as I have obviously overpriced for the forum as no interest or even offers?

I am not a greedy person and tbh just want the space and funds to buy a plotter.
I am asking less than £3 each and I pay for the postage, is that bad?

They are all in the origonal packaging and brand new. I am sure i paid a lot more with P&P

Pm me a reasonable offer and we will see if we can do a deal.
OR
Advise please on a realistic reserve price to add on E-bay.

I am not an e-bay fan after getting £3.20 for a plaque with brass fittings that cost me more to make and half again to post.

I have a few days off next week and will be sorting out a bit of stuff so need advice.
I know things are tight and that is why i need to sell my excess before I can commit to a new line (plotter)

Any advice thankfully appreciated and taken as intended.

Best regards

Tony

Could be that its the weekend, and not a lot of people are online. Then again it could be that they're polo shirts, for kids.

Seems that you under priced the plaque if you lost on the deal

Thanks John,

So Kids Polo shirts are not desirable then?

Pity that..... as personaly I think they are so much smarter than the crew neck type?
I have quite a few of those to sort out and TBH I thought I was offering the best first?
Maybe I was wrong?

Re the plaque.
I paid over £4 for the blank, ink/paper 50/60p? brass plate, fittings etc, £1.00. P&P £2.
Total say £8 and that doesnt cover my time to design , work and electric.

Owed me a tenner minimum.

I got £3.20p and I had to pay fees and pay pal had a cut.

Joke!!!!!!!!!!

I really dont want to go down that line again with the shirts.

Is £110 + free P&P over the top?

That is 44 sub polos@ 110 or £2.50 each with no Vat and free postage.

Even i sold a few at £7.50 each.
That 300% profit.
I am just looking to buy a plotter and need the space for cotton shirts and rolls of vinyl etc.

If no-one interested will e bay in a few days with a reserve and add the postage to cover fees.

Any opinions of what a fair price for 44 sub polo shirts would be appreciated so that I can set a fair reserve would be welcome.

Best regards

When you put it on ebay you would list it as a "buy it now" at a price you'd be happy with, not an auction. If you do list as auctions, and set the price too low, you risk the chance of not getting what it cost to make - as you have found out.

Cheers John

1 day since you listed the items for sale? You may need to be a little more patient or offer a bargain price if you need to sell quickly!

Tony, have you thought about splitting them up to offer on here as 44 might be just too many for a lot of people. Like John says that there isn't a lot of call for kids polo shirts.

Good advice, also extend that to e-bay if you end up putting them on there. In just over 3 years of trading I can count on one hand the number of times I've been asked for kids polos, and thats if I cut a couple of my fingers off.

I would guess 99.9% of kids polos are used for school uniform

I offered the lot so i could pack them up together and offer free postage.
It is almost the same to post half as it is them all.
It surely cant be worth offering them in say packs of 5 (thats how they come) and say 2/3 quid postage (guess)
That works out WAY over the bulk price.
I have some crewnecks to sell. Do people think they may sell better?
I also have a few small adult (I am a 40in and wear these comfy)

Thanks to all for the advice.
This aint an easy game is it?.

Open to offers for the shirts in the packs of 5.
£2.50 a shirt + postage and packaging though.
I need to work that out.
Guestimate £15ish?
Any takers?
