Re: Daughters Birthday Party Ideas Please

Post by John G »

Hi All,
It's my youngest daughters 11th Birthday in a few weeks, we said we weren't going to have a party, just a few friends round for the pictures, a pizza and then a sleepover, but maybe change our minds if the right idea came up.

Over the years we've had the following parties:
Softplays, Teddybear workshop, Roller disco, Bowling, climbing, Ice skating, a Makeover, and for the early years we hired the local community centre and did our own - never again.

If anyone has any decent ideas that we can do on a Limited budget for between 5 and 10 x 11 year old kids then please say as I'm a little stuck for new ideas at the moment.

Cheers John

pizza hut do a party thing where the kids get to make and then eat their own pizzas....check their website........... ;-)

also, at cinema near me (odeon group) , they do a sat/sun morning thing, where kids can watch a film for only a couple of quid.... saved us a fortune last year!

Cheers Lee - we're regulars at the Odeon kids club on a sat/sun morning  cheap as chips.

Done something similar to the pizza hut thingy but good idea - keep them coming!

Make and take - jewellery making party ?? or if they're not girly girls.. paintballing :)

Get them all to design a mug and then you can make them up for them to take home ?? lol

Paintballing would be fun, don't think the other kids's parents would agree though!

Found a fantastic one but the kids are just too young/little. An off road segway trek through a forest - shame but apparently the kids wouldn't be heavy enough to make the segs go, I would have fun though.

They've done a farm type thing where they looked after the animals and fed them, also done the blue reef aquarium. Looked at the Go Ape thing but cannot see any prices - their website doesn't make it easy.
