Re: ricoh print quality
hi,i,m using the e3300n ricoh, sublimating text onto metal.results are faint black, any suggestions to getting a better print?turned heat press down to 190 and 60 secs sub time, however still paper sticks to metal and the print is black ,but quite faint still.any suggestions?
Re: ricoh print quality
Go down to 170 - 175 degrees and 50 seconds. Blacks go off to brown and blurred when you are too hot for too long with ricoh inks.
Re: ricoh print quality
Are you using sublimation Ink - (sublijet - R gel ink)
Are you using the powerdriver or if a mac a profile.
What paper are you using and where from
What metal are you using and where from
As much info as possible and it will help with your replies.

Re: ricoh print quality
Well, along with your timings, that could be a problem. You need to be using either the powerdriver or a profile.
Re: ricoh print quality
Make sure you use PowerDriver which is available as a free download from here...harry tambo;41992 wrote:thanks john, sublijet, china paper from ebay, coted metal from xpress, just corel windows 7,not shire on the driver??

Re: ricoh print quality
I never did work out why.... But if I printed the same eps file from illustrator and Corel draw, the illustrator version would give a far better result on the finished product... This was on my old Ricoh GX7000
