this is the kind of thing i get ...not all the time but enough for it to look really bad....esp when just starting up

other time its time out page..

above is not showing thr full page and everything is totally mixed up from the way i uploaded it

anyone give me a hand with this opencart set up please
have created database & user...now what ?

uploaded the opencart folder to public.html forder in cpanel and extracted it...

whats ment to happen now ?

cause my domain is giving me this - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.kustomdesign.co.uk. - its still showing my old page at 123reg !

i,m not even getting the opencart up, so i can tick the licence box...its not showing..

any help ..pleeeeeease

aye...i changed em on 123reg panel...steve said they were changed his end when i got him on his chat page

you hadn't extracted the OC properly :)
it was still in the 'upload' folder ;)
i can see the install page now

but for some ppl the dns can take up to 24hrs to swap over
patience is your friend lol :)

yep....you explained very well.....off for some coffee..give it till tomorrow, hopefully it over by then....

lol...only on a sunday....the picture of the woman, is my old 123reg page....it should be gone soon when this switchs over

Loads page, right click - there, saved. Right Johnny, its OK to scrap that 123reg homepage now :biggrin:

well, im getting there....
my domian is still pointing to 123reg page tho,...god they are soooooo slow in changing nameservers...
spent most of the day talking to steve ( http://www.christianhosting.org.uk/ ) that guy must have the patience of a saint.
Got my email side sorted....just waiting for slooooow 123 reg to get there finger out, so i can get my cart started !...

when i look at some of the templates/modules with opencart, and look at the templates with the host i,m with now, they look so amatuer...i made the right choice.
Yes it maybe a liitle more work / time and effort to get it right but - first impressions count in business - any business ! :wink:
