How have I spend my weekend while you were all away at the print/promo show at the NEC - well I had to strip this trailer, prep it and apply new chilli livery. Quite happy the way it turned out but took a lot longer to strip than first thought, or quoted :frown:

Cheers John

John
Love the trailer could say its really hot with a cool look, was the side full wrap or just up to the chilli's on clear or white vinyl
Well like you we not had the time to go either and been upto similar to you, hope you dont mind but snook a pic of what we were doing this weekend.Designed and fitted by my son using Gold chrome and burgundy layered vinyl ,when seen live the text effect has a bevel to it.
Am really proud of what he done.

Very nice - what's the chrome vinyl like to work with?
I've never used it as in the past it only had a 2 year lifespan - don't know if this has changed much since then.

The chilli's were contour cut prints, on white - so not a wrap. The design was supplied by his designer , not my taste of worn look font, but the chilli's came out really well and vibrant - customer loves it too which is the whole point.

Cannot wait until he starts trading as I'm going round to be a guinea pig to test his chilli flavoured menu

Steve,
You only need a 610 cutter we have one in our mobile workshop set up in the back of our transit van,its got laptop ,cutter, work desk and pull out wrk bench that is covered by an awning.
Originally we had a set up in a small camper van so if the lads were working away they didnt need to worry about finding digs but it died so now its the transit with an inflatable matress, generator and a macdonalds for breakfast insted of museli lol

John,
The chrome is really lovely to cut ,weed and lay only one thing you have to be careful for creasing or dust as it shows out straight away.
The chrome was from Spandex and has a 3yr life but the customer changes his van every 2 and as a norm we tell all customers the guarantee is 36 months even with 5-7 yr vinyls.
I like trailer though it just eye catching so should bring him some business in, where in Newcastle is he trading will have to have a run up as I love spicy food

I think he said he'll be stationed a few miles along the Belsay Rd as i think he's from that neck of the woods.
Next time I order i'm going to get a few metres of chrome to mess around with - really like the effect.

Cheers John

Well will have to go for a run out.
We got ours from Spandex but the Vinyl Corporation and Star vinyls do a similar one cheaper as i found out after putting order in and deciding to browse.
