Re: Image will print at less than 220 ppi at the selected size
I really dont know - but are you stretching the image, therefore lowering the DPI?
Just a guess - Im sure a PS expert will be along soon though!

Try opening the file in Word and see if it prints fine that way.North guy;41053 wrote:Hi guys.

Re: Image will print at less than 220 ppi at the selected size
Photoshop is simply warning you that your image has less than 200 pixels (dots) per inch as this is considered the minimum for a good quality print. As your template is 20.5 inches by 8.5 inches that's roughly double the size of most "out of the camera" jpg files, so if you've dragged a jpg onto it you have probably "stretched" it in size which reduces the available pixels in each inch and therefore lowered the print quality, although on screen (viewed at 72dpi) it will look fine.
As Paul says you will need to look at the original jpg file size to see if the quality is sufficient to print at 20.5x8.5 at 200dpi, and the template ppi. They can both be upsized in PS to a certain extent if too small.

It's saying your original file is too low a quality
