Storing printed transfers

I was wondering how long after printing the dye sub transfer can be stored before heat pressing onto a substrate? I'm using SubliJet-R inks and Trupix paper. Would the image deteriorate or inks be affected in any way, or is it normal to print and press soon afterwards?

I put my in in a clean cellophane bags, the one the craft people use i keep it plat and make sure that its in room temp room, I have used these after a year storage with no problem.
