Yeah I thought they might be a bit, small, however the only items that I would probably sell would be iPhone cases, keyrings etc. all of which are pretty small, so a facebook sized photo would probably suffice, just about!John G;40950 wrote:It sounds like a good idea but facebook pictures are pretty well compressed and when you come to print them they are well and truly pixelated. The other thing to remember is, everyone's a David bailey these days, but some of the photo's I get given aren't printable without sorting a few things out in Photoshop first.
Your going to have to tidy most of the photo's up first, show a proof, size it to fit, print it, press it - and the customer will want it 20 minutes ago. You also have the problems of running a geny for your power and trying to keep your heat presses away from people who just want to touch it to see how hot it is.
Good idea though
Oh forgot - you'll need insurance too
I would probably operate a "buy now, pick up in an hour" kind of turnaround time... So they could have a walk round then come back.
Hopefully, if we were setting up in an indoor market/car boot, then power would not be a problem?
I will take a look at insurance now, is it Market Traders?
Thanks for the input
