read the other threads on this......

got my site about finished.

problem = postage charges.

if one person buys 1 mug @ say £5...p&p = approx £2.20nd class

if same person buys 4 mugs @ £5 = £20 + 4x £2.20 = £8.80....

how can i offer discount on postage the more you buy ?

the cart software cant do it auto for me.....so what do i do regarding postage ?

i will be offering free postage after £60

don't change post and pack - make it an incentive to buy more stuff, - you make a profit on 1 item, break even on 2, but thou post costs more than £5 for 3+ items, you are selling more stuff!

You really a set of scales, get exact weights of blanks and also packaged items, packed the way you want them sending!

I set my postage according to weight and it works ok.

You can pick up a leaflet at any post office with all the postal charges listed for letter, large letter and packet/parcel all in different weights. You're going to have to find out what postal boxes you're going to be using, weight the finished item/s and sort out p&p that way.

Yes, there used to be a pdf to download, or you can pick the leaflet up at the post office. You need to know what type of box your going to use as some weigh heavier than others.
