You'll need to find out what ink you've had put in your cartridges - I'm presuming it is sublimation ink isn't it?

Yes its sublimation ink it had chinese writing on the side of the bottles apparently, I am going to buy some ink tonight which is the best to buy? someone told me ARTAINIUM, does anyone know what is the best printer to use for sublimation for mugs?? OMG very confuzzled here lol

Artainium is the most popular sublimation ink in the UK for Epson printers. Depends what you mean by 'best'. The most trouble free printers are the Ricoh - the GXe3300 is the A4 printer.

there is no such thing as "the best" ink. There is only thing as legal to sell ink and 3rd party ink that is not allowed to be sold to desktop printers.

Trouble free printer that will work out of the box is as Martin said. Ricoh.

Thanks Paul...i am new to all this i'm afraid and just dont know the in's and out's of it all....maybe something i should have thought of before buying this on a whim, I always buy genuine inks for my big HP 5000PS printer for my canvas work so am not bothered about a price, I was just not aware at all.

hi, recognise those bottles, can't remember the make though. Can be found on AliBaba and from time-to-time pop up briefly on Ebay. You want to find an ink brand that is within your budget/business plan, but also is readily available - no point getting all set up with a nice full set of inks, and a custom profile, to then run out of ink and not be able to find the same inks again to refill with, or can't afford to.

I am always wary of people claiming absolutes like "xxx is the best" for inks and printers, along with claims that Epson's are "prone to clogging" and Ricohs are perfect!... do your research here, on other forums, and the internet as a whole and make your own mind up as to which way you want to go about things. Be wary of dealers overly trying to push one brand/system.

Googling the terms "sawgrass epson ricoh printer problems" may be a good start ...
