Ricoh 3350 - Line across the print

Bought a 3350 for day to day work. I'm getting fine lines all across the images. Tried usual cleaning, head alignment etc.

If I change the paper feed I get thicker lines closer together but fine lines remain throughout.

I'm thinking it might be software rather than the printer itself. Tried messing around with settings and I can make it better/worse but it still remains

Anyone got any ideas? Even tried a different usb port as per a previous thread.

Have you gone through the head alignment process?

Yes, didn't appear to make much difference. Print isn't crystal clear so not 100% sure this worked ok...will try that again.

Hi Justin,
Didn't you have trouble with lines the last time you used a Ricoh, if you did, then it's something on your computer (a program maybe) rather than the printer.

Hi John, yes these do look very much the same but my second 5050 worked ok.....could well be software related though.

Just been through the head alignment and made a small change but the print looks the same, also done the paper feed again.

Also just found the colour test page print direct from the printer control panel, image has the same lines across so this leads me to think it can't be pc related?

You tell me! lol. Printout looks very washed out. I've now done 2 head flushes (not cleans) and print has got noticeably better but is still far from right.

If it's a brand new machine out of the box with genuine Ricoh inks in it then the issue might be pointing to the printer.
